Island Drip started while working in the wholesale food industry, supplying meat and poultry to Caribbean and Jamaican restaurants throughout New York and the tri-state area.

Being around Caribbean food every day, one thing stood out: Scotch bonnet peppers are at the heart of so many iconic dishes and flavors, yet most hot honey products on the market use standard chili peppers and all taste similar.

We wanted to create something different.

Island Drip combines premium honey with real Scotch bonnet peppers to deliver the sweet heat and authentic Caribbean flavor that inspired the brand. After sharing samples with restaurant owners, customers, friends, and family, the response was overwhelmingly positive.

What started as an idea quickly became a mission: bring a true Caribbean-inspired hot honey to kitchens, restaurants, and tables everywhere.
